The Night Owl, based in Digbeth, Birmingham is to welcome back Mercury Prize nominee Joe Talbot of IDLES on Friday 23rd July, with Desperate Journalist’s, Simon Drowner, DIE DAS DER DJs plus a live performance from local punk rockers, Hey Alamo.
Joe Talbot previously appeared at Night Owl for a conversation with music industry executive Alan McGee, and IDLES frontman is returning for a DJ set alongside resident DIE DAS DER DJs – who will be digging out some alt-rock gems, and a prevalent member of post-punk group Desperate Journalist, Simon Drowner.
The night will open with a live performance from the new punk group on the block, Hey Alamo. Hey Alamo recently performed at DIE DAS DER’s socially-distanced Slagheap show at The Hare & Hounds in Kings Heath.
Die Das Der Club with Joe Talbot (IDLES) DJ set + more takes place on Friday 23rd July from 10:30pm to 4am and is expected to be one of the first full capacity events at The Night Owl (pending government guidelines).
Tickets cost £10 plus fee and are available >> here <<.
