Bentley Rhythm Ace - Live @Hare & Hounds

Mad-cap, big beat samplers Bentley Rhythm Ace are enjoying a resurgence on the live scene since their appearance at Lunar Festival last year. This will be their second headline show at the Hare and I'm sure it will be their best yet. Also on the bill are Social State, a duo we've been championing for the past few months. So it's a night of vets and rookies with beats and samples, get your tickets quick!

The Destroyers - "Massive Gong" Album Launch

Off the back of a dazzling performance at Moseley Folk festival last weekend, the purveyors of ultimate "megafolk" have a brand new album! It's the climax of a 3-year writing period which saw the release of two other EPs, "Vortex Cannon" and "License To Sing". The MAC play host to the launch of their new album "The Massive Gong" with support from the wonderful Bonfire Radicals. Try not to miss this one!

Kim Lowings & The Greenwood - "Wild & Wicked Youth" Album Launch


Folk singer & songwriter Kim Lowings fronts a collective of musicians called The Greenwood. Based in Stourbridge they play a mix of contemporary, original and traditional folk song. We recorded her last year with a solo set at the Blue Piano so have a listen here then se the full band experience!

Semantics "Acid Test" EP Launch @Actress & Bishop

Don't worry Indie-heads, we hadn't forgotten about you! You get a lauch as well! Semantics are unveiling "Acid Test" at the Actress & Bishop with a very Brum Radio friendly support card in crisps-in-the-sun fantasists, Hankks and a personal favourite of The Forward Factor's Tim Senna, Quinn (they might be related, I don't know). All in all it's a lot to tuck your ears into, isn't it?
