Brum Radio is seeking a new member to join our Steering Committee and help guide the station through its next stage of growth. This voluntary role is ideal for someone with strong life experience, good judgement and a genuine love of radio.
What you’ll do

Contribute to the strategic direction of the station

Support decisions around programming, operations and long-term planning

Bring independent thinking, clarity and constructive challenge to discussions

Champion Brum Radio’s mission to change the radio landscape
What we’re looking for

Broad life experience and a steady head

A strong appreciation of radio, audio culture or the wider creative sector

Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively

Reliability, consistency and a willingness to get involved
Time commitment

Weekly committee meetings, plus input between meetings
